According to various outlets, Chelsea are seriously considering a move for Sporting CP forward, Flavio Goncalves. While nothing concrete has emerged yet, the player's name has reportedly featured in internal discussions about possible reinforcements ahead of the run-in. While Chelsea and Sporting CP continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Manchester United reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. Chelsea have been strong going forward this season, with 17 goals scored in 7 games (2.43 per game). Flavio Goncalves would give them depth and keep that attacking firepower going all season. Speculation continues to connect Chelsea with Natan, Daniel Banjaqui and Malik Jakupovic while no fresh rumours surround Sporting CP. More on this story as it develops.
