The transfer mill is churning once again, with Manchester United believed to be lining up a move for Flavio Goncalves, the forward from Sporting CP. Sources close to the club suggest they are exploring options to reinforce their squad ahead of the run-in. Chelsea remain in the background, but for now, Manchester United are leading the way in ongoing talks. So far this season, Manchester United are averaging 1.43 goals scored per game (10 goals /7 games), close to the Premier League average. Flavio Goncalves would be expected to help them push higher and add more variety in attack. Manchester United have recently been linked with Ruud Nijstad, Yasin Abbas Ayari and Evanilson while Sporting CP have had no rumoured targets. Can't get enough Manchester United transfer rumours?
