Marc Bernal Casas, currently with Barcelona, is the latest name linked with a potential switch to Liverpool. The midfielder could become a key signing should the move materialise, as the club seeks to strengthen in a key area of the pitch. While Manchester City, Manchester United and Girona have shown interest, Liverpool currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. Liverpool look balanced this season - 1.4 goals scored and 0.8 goals conceded per game. Marc Bernal Casas would be expected to bring control and consistency to help push them to another level. Barcelona continue to be linked with Eduardo, Finn Jeltsch and Virgil van Dijk while Liverpool are also rumoured to be tracking Kaoru Mitoma, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo.
