Update
Multiple reports have confirmed that Nottingham Forest have made their first official bid for Rico Lewis by submitting a formal offer. The Manchester City defender has long been admired by the interested team, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad ahead of the run-in. Whether the current offer will be enough to tempt Manchester City to part with a prized asset remains to be seen. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. This season (25/26) Nottingham Forest have shipped 12 goals in 7 matches - 1.71 a game, which is well above the Premier League average. Rico Lewis would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back. Manchester City have also been linked with Alexander Isak, Xavi Simons and Carlos Baleba while Nottingham Forest are reportedly monitoring Kostas Tsimikas.
