The deal is done: Saba Goglichidze is now a Watford player after completing a switch from Udinese. The defender signs after the two clubs reached an agreement and the player completed a medical. The player is set to meet his new teammates and embark on a new chapter in his career. With no other clubs strongly linked, Watford were able to move quickly and secure the deal without distraction. Across the season 25/26, Watford have let in 35 goals in 29 (1.21 per game), roughly in line with the Championship average. Saba Goglichidze would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season.
