Update
With a bid reportedly now accepted by Milan, Leeds have opened formal talks with Santiago Gimenez over personal terms. The forward is said to be keen on the move, though full details of the contract are still being worked through. Negotiations are active, and the next 24-48 hours could prove decisive in closing the deal - with optimism growing that he will be a Leeds player before too long. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if West Ham, Sunderland and Chelsea decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. In season 25/26, Leeds are only scoring 1.14 goals per game (16 in 14), below the Premier League average. Santiago Gimenez would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third. Milan continue to be linked with Federico Chiesa, Thiago Silva and Bernardo Silva while Leeds are also rumoured to be tracking Troy Parrott and Kalvin Phillips.
