According to a number of reliable sources, the deal to sign Tommaso Baldanzi has taken a major step forward. After Roma agreed to Genoa's latest bid for the player, the focus has now shifted to personal terms as they look to get a deal done. The midfielder is said to be receptive to the move, which would see him join an already talented squad ahead of the run-in. Genoa have laid out their intentions, but valuation and timing remain under debate. Verona and Fiorentina are keeping tabs in case talks collapse or progress slows further.
