Update
Multiple sources have confirmed that West Ham have officially submitted a bid for Victor Boniface. The offer for the Leverkusen forward had been speculated for a number of weeks, but represents the first concrete bid for the player. While negotiations continue, they are said to be progressing. West Ham remain optimistic, but the deal is not without hurdles. Bremen and Milan continue to monitor developments and could yet re-enter the race if negotiations stall or valuation gaps remain unresolved. West Ham's 25/26 output of 1.0 goals per game is behind league levels. The addition of Victor Boniface would give them the sharper edge they're missing in front of goal. Alongside this, Leverkusen are said to be exploring Botman Sven, Quinten Timber and Manuel Akanji with West Ham likewise connected to Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi, Axel Disasi and Charlie Cresswell.
