Update
Transfer speculation continues to mount as Yves Bissouma has been linked in recent days with a move to West Ham. The midfielder, currently playing for Tottenham, could add a new dimension to the squad if the rumoured interest turns into an official approach before the end of the transfer window. While West Ham and Tottenham continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Everton, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. In season 25/26, West Ham are conceding 2.29 goals per game (16 in 7 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Yves Bissouma would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Tottenham have also been linked with Senny Mayulu, Jan Paul van Hecke and Malick Fofana while West Ham are reportedly monitoring Andre Onana. More on this story as it develops.
