Following multiple reliable reports that Fiorentina have accepted a bid from Lazio for Albert Gudmundsson - discussions over personal terms are said to have begun as all parties look to finalise the move in the coming days. The forward is open to the move, and if talks proceed smoothly, the transfer could be confirmed in the coming days - which would see the buying team secure one of their top targets and put their rivals on notice. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Bologna decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. In season 26/27, Lazio are only scoring 1.0 goals per game (2 in 2), below the Serie A average. Albert Gudmundsson would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third. Fiorentina continue to be linked with Alieu Eybi Njie, Degnand Wilfried Gnonto and Joshua Zirkzee while Lazio are also rumoured to be tracking Yanis Begraoui, Dennis Man and Edon Zhegrova.
