The transfer mill is churning once again, with Everton believed to be lining up a move for Alejandro Balde Martinez, the defender from Barcelona. Sources close to the club suggest they are exploring options to reinforce their squad ahead of the run-in. Fulham, Sunderland and Aston Villa are reportedly waiting in the wings. Finalising a fee and payment terms remains central to closing the transfer. With only 3 goals conceded in 5 (0.6 per game), Everton have been one of the stronger defences in the Premier League this season.. Alejandro Balde Martinez would be asked to keep that standard and provide dependable cover when needed. Speculation continues to connect Barcelona with Finn Jeltsch, Virgil van Dijk and Castello Lukeba while no fresh rumours surround Everton. Need more Everton transfer rumours?
