Update
Confirmed reports suggest that negotiations over the transfer of Carlos Baleba are ongoing, with Man Utd pushing to land the midfielder from Brighton to strengthen their squad. Discussions are said to be constructive, with the structure of the deal - including add-ons and bonuses - now under consideration, although there is currently no confirmation of an agreed fee for the player. The player is aware of the interest and would reportedly be open to the move, should personal terms be agreed. While Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Liverpool have shown interest, Man Utd currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. In season 25/26, Man Utd are conceding 1.56 goals per game (28 in 18 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Carlos Baleba would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Brighton have also been linked with David Moller Wolfe while Man Utd are reportedly monitoring Lassine Sinayoko, Toby Collyer and Pablo Barrios Rivas. Want more transfer rumours like this?
