Manchester United have reportedly added Elliot Anderson to their shortlist of transfer targets. The Manchester City midfielder is rumoured to be attracting attention ahead of the next transfer window, with insiders claiming preliminary talks could soon take place. While Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Manchester City have shown interest, Manchester United currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. In season 26/27, Manchester United are conceding 1.6 goals per game (8 in 5 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Elliot Anderson would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Alongside this, Manchester City are said to be exploring Givairo Read with Manchester United likewise connected to Eduardo, Nico O Reilly and Charalampos Kostoulas.
