Parma are said to be in formal negotiations with Inter over the signing of Franco Carboni. The defender has been a target for some time, and talks are said to be intensifying as the window progresses. The player remains under contract, but movement looks increasingly likely the longer talks go on. Parma continue discussions over the move, with no rival interest reported so far to complicate matters. Across the season 25/26, Parma have let in 26 goals in 22 (1.18 per game), roughly in line with the Serie A average. Franco Carboni would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season. Alongside this, Inter are said to be exploring Andre Onana, Leon Jakirovic and Harry Maguire with Parma likewise connected to Nicolussi Caviglia and Andreas Schjelderup.
