Update
It's official: George Ilenikhena has signed for AL Ittihad from Monaco. The forward's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. Despite interest from Lille the deal has been made public. It's a move that brings clarity to the player's future heading into the final stretch of the season. At 1.83 goals scored per game this season, AL Ittihad already pose a big threat. George Ilenikhena would be expected to maintain that level and give them another reliable option in attack. Alongside this, Monaco are said to be exploring Zavier Gozo, Othmane Maamma and Simon Adingra with AL Ittihad likewise connected to Gustavo Sa, Chancel Mbemba and Youssef En-Nesyri.
