Media reports claim that Leeds are keeping tabs on Jota, who currently plays as a forward for Nottingham Forest. The move is still in the early stages, but interest appears to be growing. While Leeds and Nottingham Forest continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Besiktas, Paris FC and Sporting reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. In season 25/26, Leeds are only scoring 1.0 goals per game (7 in 7), below the Premier League average. Jota would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third. Nottingham Forest have also been linked with Kristiansen Victor, Mads Bidstrup and Dominik Livakovic while Leeds are reportedly monitoring Mehdi Taremi, Dilane Bakwa and James Hill.
