According to multiple reports, Kobbie Mainoo is closer than ever to joining Napoli, with the teams having reached an agreement. The midfielder, currently with Manchester United is now discussing personal terms, with both parties aiming to wrap up the deal quickly. While nothing is final yet, it is looking increasingly likely that Kobbie Mainoo will be a Napoli player imminently. While Besiktas, Arsenal and West Ham have shown interest, Napoli currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. Napoli's 26/27 record of 1.67 goals conceded per game shows they're missing balance in midfield. Someone like Kobbie Mainoo could give them more structure and help them manage games. Reports suggest Manchester United are monitoring Mohamed Kader Meite, Nicolo Tresoldi and Louis Page whereas Napoli have not been associated with other players at this stage.
