The deal to bring Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona has broken down - according to sources close to the clubs. The Inter forward had featured prominently in the club's plans, but sources are now speculating that no agreement was reached and both sides are expected to move on quickly to new targets. Whether talks will resume further down the line remains to be seen. The deal has fallen through, and while Barcelona are moving on, clubs such as Arsenal remain in the frame. At 4.43 goals scored per game this season, Barcelona already pose a big threat. Lautaro Martinez would be expected to maintain that level and give them another reliable option in attack. Alongside this, Inter are said to be exploring Paul Mendy with Barcelona likewise connected to Castello Lukeba, Arthur Dias and JJ Gabriel. Looking for Barcelona transfer rumours?
