Following lengthy negotiations and final medical checks, Federico Dimarco has completed a transfer to Barcelona from Inter. The defender is now fully registered and eligible for selection for his new team. It's a statement signing for Barcelona, who have moved quickly to finalise the deal ahead of the close of the window, with fans salivating at the thought of seeing their new signing in a Barcelona shirt. With Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United having dropped out of the race to sign him, the final steps went through without issue. The club handled the final stage quickly and will now look to integrate him into the matchday squad as soon as possible. Barcelona's back line has been a real strength this season, conceding just 1.09 goals per game (12 in 11). Federico Dimarco would be expected to slot into that unit and hold his own in an already solid setup. Alongside this, Inter are said to be exploring Diogo Dalot with Barcelona likewise connected to Youri Baas, Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi.
