According to various outlets, Chelsea are seriously considering a move for Monza forward, Gustavo Varela. While nothing concrete has emerged yet, the player's name has reportedly featured in internal discussions about possible reinforcements ahead of the run-in. Chelsea have laid out their intentions, but valuation and timing remain under debate. Tottenham and Arsenal are keeping tabs in case talks collapse or progress slows further. At 2.11 goals scored per game this season, Chelsea already pose a big threat. Gustavo Varela would be expected to maintain that level and give them another reliable option in attack. Reports suggest Chelsea are monitoring Mathis Albert, Alex Freeman and Desire Doue whereas Monza have not been associated with other players at this stage. Looking for Chelsea transfer rumours?
