According to various outlets, Liverpool are seriously considering a move for Brentford defender, El Hadji Malick Diouf. While nothing concrete has emerged yet, the player's name has reportedly featured in internal discussions about possible reinforcements ahead of the run-in. Chelsea, Brentford and Manchester United have not withdrawn their interest and could still influence the outcome. Liverpool's back line has been a real strength this season, conceding just 1.0 goals per game (9 in 9). El Hadji Malick Diouf would be expected to slot into that unit and hold his own in an already solid setup. Liverpool have recently been linked with Wael Mohya, Gavi and Tarik Muharemovic while Brentford have had no rumoured targets.
