Transfer interest is building around Michael Olabode Kayode, with Liverpool understood to be weighing-up a move for the Brentford defender. While there has been no official bid as yet, the club may act swiftly if they decide to pursue the deal before the transfer window slams shut. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. With only 4 goals conceded in 5 (0.8 per game), Liverpool have been one of the stronger defences in the Premier League this season.. Michael Olabode Kayode would be asked to keep that standard and provide dependable cover when needed. Reports suggest Liverpool are monitoring Marc Bernal Casas, Kaoru Mitoma and Rayan Cherki whereas Brentford have not been associated with other players at this stage.
