Multiple reliable new sources are reporting that Chelsea have submitted a concrete bid for Mathis Albert. The forward remains under contract at Dortmund, but the opening offer has opened the door for discussions between the two clubs - though it is unclear at this stage whether the current bid will be enough to tempt them to part with a prized asset. Chelsea are still pushing to finalise terms. However, Manchester City are still watching closely and may return with offers of their own. Chelsea have been strong going forward this season, with 17 goals scored in 7 games (2.43 per game). Mathis Albert would give them depth and keep that attacking firepower going all season. Dortmund have also been linked with Wael Mohya while Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Alex Freeman, Desire Doue and Abdellah Ouazane.
