Reports today confirm that the transfer of Mathias Fjortoft Lovik to Trabzonspor has reached a breakthrough stage after Parma gave the green light to the move and reached an agreement with the interested team. While personal terms and contract length are yet to be agreed - it is looking increasingly likely that the Trabzonspor are about to get one of their top transfer targets signed and sealed. Trabzonspor continue discussions over the move, with no rival interest reported so far to complicate matters. Across the season 25/26, Trabzonspor have let in 20 goals in 17 (1.18 per game), roughly in line with the Super Lig average. Mathias Fjortoft Lovik would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season.
