Update
Unconfirmed reports suggest that negotiations over the transfer of Pedro Porro are ongoing, with Manchester City pushing to land the defender from Tottenham to strengthen their squad. Discussions are said to be constructive, with the structure of the deal - including add-ons and bonuses - now under consideration, although there is currently no confirmation of an agreed fee for the player. The player is aware of the interest and would reportedly be open to the move, should personal terms be agreed. While Manchester City and Tottenham continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Barcelona reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. Manchester City 's back line has been a real strength this season, conceding just 0.89 goals per game (32 in 36). Pedro Porro would be expected to slot into that unit and hold his own in an already solid setup. Tottenham have also been linked with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, John Stones and Matt O'Riley while Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Marc Cucurella, Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson.
