The defender had been heavily linked throughout the window, but the deal is now dead in the water. This move is off for now, though speculation continues around Soungoutou Magassa, who has also been linked with West Ham and Roma. This season (25/26) Nottingham Forest have shipped 10 goals in 6 matches - 1.67 a game, which is well above the Premier League average. Soungoutou Magassa would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back.
