It's official: Wout Faes has signed for Monaco from Leicester. The defender's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. With Lazio and Besiktas having dropped out of the race to sign him, the final steps went through without issue. The club handled the final stage quickly and will now look to integrate him into the matchday squad as soon as possible. So far in this season, Monaco are conceding 1.76 goals a game (30 in 17), more than they'd like compared to the Ligue 1 standard. The hope is Wout Faes adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down.
