Update
Following lengthy negotiations and final medical checks, Zak Vyner has completed a transfer to Wrexham from Bristol City. The defender is now fully registered and eligible for selection for his new team. It's a statement signing for Wrexham, who have moved quickly to finalise the deal ahead of the close of the window, with fans salivating at the thought of seeing their new signing in a Wrexham shirt. The move attracted little outside interest, which meant Wrexham could complete the transfer without any real contest. Across the season 25/26, Wrexham have let in 37 goals in 30 (1.23 per game), roughly in line with the Championship average. Zak Vyner would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season. Alongside this, Bristol City are said to be exploring Carlos Vicente and Tomi Horvat with Wrexham likewise connected to Sammie Szmodics, Sidiki Cherif and Paul Pogba.
