Following lengthy negotiations and final medical checks, Jacques Ekomie has completed a transfer to Wrexham from Angers. The midfielder is now fully registered and eligible for selection for his new team. It's a statement signing for Wrexham, who have moved quickly to finalise the deal ahead of the close of the window, with fans salivating at the thought of seeing their new signing in a Wrexham shirt. Interest had been high throughout the window, with Hamburg previously linked. But Wrexham acted decisively, beating the competition and finalising all formalities to make him the latest addition to their squad. Wrexham are only scoring 1.0 goals per game (2 in 2) this season, which suggests they need more creativity in the middle. Jacques Ekomie would be seen as the link to raise the tempo and feed the attack. Speculation continues to connect Wrexham with Harry Souttar, Anis Mehmeti and Pavel Sulc while no fresh rumours surround Angers. Follow for more transfer rumours ahead of the Transfer Window!
