Fulham have reportedly added Alejandro Balde Martinez to their shortlist of transfer targets. The Barcelona defender is rumoured to be attracting attention ahead of the next transfer window, with insiders claiming preliminary talks could soon take place. Everton, Sunderland and Aston Villa have not withdrawn their interest and could still influence the outcome. This season (26/27) Fulham have shipped 8 goals in 5 matches - 1.6 a game, which is well above the Premier League average. Alejandro Balde Martinez would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back. Reports suggest Barcelona are monitoring Finn Jeltsch, Virgil van Dijk and Castello Lukeba whereas Fulham have not been associated with other players at this stage.
