After weeks of intense speculation, multiple reliable sources have confirmed that Fulham have tabled a concrete offer for Andrei Ratiu, the Vallecano defender who has been catching the eye this year. The bid signals the first move in what could be intense negotiations - with the team said to be reluctant to let an important player go unless his valuation is met. Nottingham, Newcastle and Liverpool may look to intervene if talks continue without resolution. This season (26/27) Fulham have shipped 4 goals in 2 matches - 2.0 a game, which is well above the Premier League average. Andrei Ratiu would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back. Vallecano continue to be linked with Derek Cornelius, Aitor Fernandez and Jose Sa while Fulham are also rumoured to be tracking Matias Soule, Hugo Larsson and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
