Update
Mallorca have pulled the plug on their pursuit of Andreas Schjelderup, with the move from Sl Benfica officially off. The forward had been considered a priority signing, but for now, he'll reportedly be staying put. It's unclear whether the club will revisit the deal further down the line or move onto other targets. Talks broke down before a deal could be reached with Mallorca, leaving the door open for clubs like Club Brugge, Roma and West Ham to step in. So far this season, Mallorca are averaging 1.27 goals scored per game (28 goals /22 games), close to the LaLiga average. Andreas Schjelderup would be expected to help them push higher and add more variety in attack. Sl Benfica have also been linked with Seko Fofana, Jeff Ekhator and Stije Resink while Mallorca are reportedly monitoring Benjamin Dominguez and Cyril Ngonge. Looking for Mallorca transfer rumours?
