It's official: Andri Gudjohnsen has signed for Blackburn from KAA Gent. The forward's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. Blackburn faced no rival bids for the player, enabling them to negotiate directly and wrap up the deal efficiently. In season 25/26, Blackburn are only scoring 0.86 goals per game (6 in 7), below the Championship average. Andri Gudjohnsen would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third.
