Carlos Borges, currently with Club Brugge, is the latest name linked with a potential switch to Tottenham. The forward could become a key signing should the move materialise, as the club seeks to strengthen in a key area of the pitch. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Manchester United decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. In season 26/27, Tottenham are only scoring 0.86 goals per game (6 in 7), below the Premier League average. Carlos Borges would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third. Tottenham have recently been linked with Lucas Da Cunha, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori while Club Brugge have had no rumoured targets.
