Update
Following multiple reliable reports that Hoffenheim have accepted a bid from Augsburg for Arthur Largura Chaves - discussions over personal terms are said to have begun as all parties look to finalise the move in the coming days. The defender is open to the move, and if talks proceed smoothly, the transfer could be confirmed in the coming days - which would see the buying team secure one of their top targets and put their rivals on notice. Talks remain ongoing, though with no rival clubs reported in the mix, Augsburg are progressing without added pressure. This season (25/26) Augsburg have shipped 35 goals in 18 matches - 1.94 a game, which is well above the Bundesliga average. Arthur Largura Chaves would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back. Hoffenheim continue to be linked with Mirza Catovic while Augsburg are also rumoured to be tracking Stefan Posch, Rodrigo Ribeiro and Leonidas Stergiou. Looking for Augsburg transfer rumours?
