Update
Unconfirmed reports suggest that negotiations over the transfer of Bernardo Silva are ongoing, with Juventus pushing to land the midfielder from Manchester City to strengthen their squad. Discussions are said to be constructive, with the structure of the deal - including add-ons and bonuses - now under consideration, although there is currently no confirmation of an agreed fee for the player. The player is aware of the interest and would reportedly be open to the move, should personal terms be agreed. Chicago, Atletico and Como 1907 have not withdrawn their interest and could still influence the outcome. So far this season, Juventus are steady at both ends (1.79 goals scored per game, 1.0 goals conceded per game). The role for Bernardo Silva would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch. Manchester City continue to be linked with Felix Nmecha, Joao Neves and Elliot Anderson while Juventus are also rumoured to be tracking Xaver Schlager, Alisson and Sandro Tonali.
