The deal is done: Pape Matar Sarr is now a Juventus player after completing a switch from Tottenham. The midfielder signs after the two clubs reached an agreement and the player completed a medical. The player is set to meet his new teammates and embark on a new chapter in his career. Interest had been high throughout the window, with Nottingham, Besiktas and Monaco previously linked. But Juventus acted decisively, beating the competition and finalising all formalities to make him the latest addition to their squad. So far this season, Juventus are steady at both ends (1.5 goals scored per game, 0 goals conceded per game). The role for Pape Matar Sarr would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch. Tottenham continue to be linked with Igor Matanovic, Amine Gouiri and Emilano Martinez while Juventus are also rumoured to be tracking Nick Woltemade, Franck Kessie and Juan Miranda.
