Update
Brennan Johnson is confirmed to be the subject of advanced talks between Bournemouth and Tottenham, who are negotiating terms ahead of a possible transfer. The forward has long been on the radar of Bournemouth, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad as they look to strengthen a key area of the pitch. Progress on talks has been made, though a final agreement is not yet in place and other clubs are said to be weighing-up whether to join the race for his signature. Bournemouth are still pushing to finalise terms. However, Aston Villa, Leeds and Crystal Palace are still watching closely and may return with offers of their own. So far this season, Bournemouth are averaging 1.5 goals scored per game (27 goals /18 games), close to the Premier League average. Brennan Johnson would be expected to help them push higher and add more variety in attack. Alongside this, Tottenham are said to be exploring Bradley Barcola, Mika Godts and Omar Marmoush with Bournemouth likewise connected to Issahaku Abdul Fatawu, Tarik Muharemovic and Nathan Ake.
