Transfer speculation continues to mount as multiple reports in recent days have linked Alex Scott with a move to Chelsea. The midfielder, currently playing for Bournemouth, could add a new dimension to the squad if the rumoured interest turns into an official approach before the end of the transfer window. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. In season 26/27, Chelsea are conceding 1.86 goals per game (13 in 7 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Alex Scott would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Chelsea have recently been linked with Mathis Albert, Alex Freeman and Desire Doue while Bournemouth have had no rumoured targets. Follow for more transfer rumours ahead of the Transfer Window!
