Transfer speculation continues to mount as Marcus Tavernier has been linked in recent days with a move to Arsenal. The forward, currently playing for Bournemouth, could add a new dimension to the squad if the rumoured interest turns into an official approach before the end of the transfer window. Manchester United are reportedly waiting in the wings. Finalising a fee and payment terms remains central to closing the transfer. At 1.56 goals scored per game this season, Arsenal already pose a big threat. Marcus Tavernier would be expected to maintain that level and give them another reliable option in attack. Reports suggest Arsenal are monitoring Mohamed Belloumi, Desire Doue and Alberto Costa whereas Bournemouth have not been associated with other players at this stage.
