Transfer negotiations are reportedly ongoing between Arsenal and Frankfurt over Can Yılmaz Uzun, the highly-rated forward. The clubs are believed to be some way apart on valuation, but dialogue is open as they look to strike a deal ahead of the run-in. Unconfirmed reports suggest both sides are hopeful of finding a resolution in the coming days - with other interested clubs said to be circling. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Galatasaray, Aston Villa and Newcastle decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. Arsenal's current 1.57 goals scored per game is close to average. Can Yılmaz Uzun would be seen as someone to make them more dangerous and clinical in the box. Reports suggest Arsenal are monitoring Xavi Espart Font, Bazoumana Toure and Min-jae Kim whereas Frankfurt have not been associated with other players at this stage.
