Deiver Machado has officially completed a move from Lens to Nantes. The defender joins after weeks of speculation, with the transfer now confirmed by all parties. The club have made the announcement following final approval and registration, with the player set to be unveiled imminently. With no other clubs strongly linked, Nantes were able to move quickly and secure the deal without distraction. This season (25/26) Nantes have shipped 24 goals in 15 matches - 1.6 a game, which is well above the Ligue 1 average. Deiver Machado would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back.
