Transfer speculation continues to mount as Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked in recent days with a move to Real Madrid. The goalkeeper, currently playing for Manchester City, could add a new dimension to the squad if the rumoured interest turns into an official approach before the end of the transfer window. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Chelsea, Galatasaray and Manchester United decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. Real Madrid's back line has been a real strength this season, conceding just 1.14 goals per game (8 in 7). Gianluigi Donnarumma would be expected to slot into that unit and hold his own in an already solid setup. Alongside this, Manchester City are said to be exploring Jon Mikel Aramburu Mejias and Givairo Read with Real Madrid likewise connected to Finn Jeltsch, Lennart Karl and Jarrad Branthwaite.
