Reports today confirm that the transfer of Lyle Foster to Houston has reached a breakthrough stage after Burnley gave the green light to the move and reached an agreement with the interested team. While personal terms and contract length are yet to be agreed - it is looking increasingly likely that the Houston are about to get one of their top transfer targets signed and sealed. Houston continue discussions over the move, with no rival interest reported so far to complicate matters. In season 2026, Houston are only scoring 1.36 goals per game (30 in 22), below the MLS average. Lyle Foster would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third.
