Multiple sources are reporting that Morato is the subject of an offer from Wolfsburg, who have made a move to sign one of their top transfer targets. The defender, currently at Nottingham Forest, is now at the centre of negotiations between the two clubs - while it remains to be seen whether the opening offer will be enough for the team to part with their man. Negotiations are still active, and with no other teams linked, Wolfsburg appear to have a clear path to completing the deal. So far in this season, Wolfsburg are conceding 2.1 goals a game (42 in 20), more than they'd like compared to the Bundesliga standard. The hope is Morato adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Nottingham Forest continue to be linked with Robin Gosens, Arne Engels and Dwight McNeil while Wolfsburg are also rumoured to be tracking Kodai Sano, Raphael Onyedika Nwadike and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
