Transfer talk surrounding Noa Mikic is intensifying, with reports suggesting Newcastle are monitoring the Dinamo Zagreb defender closely. The player has caught the attention of several scouts as other clubs prepare for a potentially active transfer window. Negotiations are still active, and with no other teams linked, Newcastle appear to have a clear path to completing the deal. So far in this season, Newcastle are conceding 1.8 goals a game (9 in 5), more than they'd like compared to the Premier League standard. The hope is Noa Mikic adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Speculation continues to connect Newcastle with Yasin Abbas Ayari while no fresh rumours surround Dinamo Zagreb.
