Update
Following multiple reliable reports that Nottingham Forest have accepted a bid from Ajax for Olexandr Zinchenko - discussions over personal terms are said to have begun as all parties look to finalise the move in the coming days. The defender is open to the move, and if talks proceed smoothly, the transfer could be confirmed in the coming days - which would see the buying team secure one of their top targets and put their rivals on notice. While Nottingham Forest, Marseille and Real Betis have shown interest, Ajax currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. Ajax's back line has been a real strength this season, conceding just 1.37 goals per game (26 in 19). Olexandr Zinchenko would be expected to slot into that unit and hold his own in an already solid setup. Alongside this, Nottingham Forest are said to be exploring Eric Emanuel da Silva Moreira, Youssef En-Nesyri and Evan Ferguson with Ajax likewise connected to Joao Pedro Chermont Crema, Dennis Geiger and Manuel Ugarte.
