Update
Multiple sources have confirmed that Leverkusen have officially submitted a bid for Quinten Timber. The offer for the Feyenoord midfielder had been speculated for a number of weeks, but represents the first concrete bid for the player. While negotiations continue, they are said to be progressing. Leverkusen remain optimistic, but the deal is not without hurdles. West Ham continue to monitor developments and could yet re-enter the race if negotiations stall or valuation gaps remain unresolved. Leverkusen look balanced this season - 2.0 goals scored and 1.6 goals conceded per game. Quinten Timber would be expected to bring control and consistency to help push them to another level. Alongside this, Feyenoord are said to be exploring Hamza Igamane with Leverkusen likewise connected to Botman Sven, Manuel Akanji and Facundo Valentin Buonanotte.
