Update
Multiple reliable reports are claiming that Leverkusen are keeping tabs on Nathan De Cat, who plies his trade as a midfielder for Anderlecht. The move is still in the early stages, but interest appears to be growing. Leverkusen are still pushing to finalise terms. However, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Dortmund are still watching closely and may return with offers of their own. So far this season, Leverkusen are steady at both ends (2.4 goals scored per game, 1.4 goals conceded per game). The role for Nathan De Cat would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch. Neither Anderlecht nor Leverkusen have been linked with any additional targets at this stage.
