It's official: Romain Esse has signed for Coventry from Crystal Palace. The midfielder's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. The move attracted little outside interest, which meant Coventry could complete the transfer without any real contest. So far this season, Coventry are steady at both ends (2.19 goals scored per game, 1.12 goals conceded per game). The role for Romain Esse would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch.
